Which gun to sell?

I have two brand new 270 rifles, One is a Winchester Model 70 Featherweight DLX with 22" barrel, 2008 limited edition. The other is a Remington Model 700 WSM National wild Turkery Federation Rifle with matching gun case. I am wanting to sell one the rifles so I can purchase an AR-15. I'm having a difficult time deciding which rifle to sell. Will one be worth more than the other in years to come or is it really a toss-up? What would be a fair price to sell the guns for? I won the guns in a raffle so I really have no investment in them. I'm a bowhunter so I will probably never shot either.

Don't sell either. Unless it's a piece of crap gun that you don't care about (and clearly, you care in this case) keep your boys home where they belong :)

Save for a month or two and get your new one then.

I've never sold a rifle that I didn't regret it. I've given away several rifles and take great satisfaction in the gifting of a firearm, but I don't think I"ll ever sell another one.

I would keep the model 70 and sell the other. However I will caution that "Special" or "Limited" editions generally don't hold the value most people would expect them to.

Deer Whisperer

I cant understand why you would want an AR 15 when you have real guns.:D
JUST KIDDING. If it were me I would keep the featherweight, but both are great rifles.

Sell the 700....One reason is it's a 700..another reason is..Wild Turkey federation on a rifle??....I would understand more if it were a shotgun.....

You're a bow hunter , sell them both ! Or take them along to the gun shop and swap one or both towards your AR . If these rifles are new in the box , don't let the Gun Shop beat you up on them . If you can find out the dealer cost of those guns , that shoild be your minimum trade allowance , He has his markup on the AR already !

I'd keep the featherweight, but really it's up to you. If you really are never going to shoot them, sell them both and buy something you want?
