Which FAL is better?

Which FAL rifle is better, DSA or Enterprise? What is the major difference(s) between receivers? (Type 1 & Type 2 for DSA, and Type 01 & Type 03 for Enterprise)

DSA is the quality leader.

IAI would be my second choice.

Second Spectre's comments - the DSA has the most consistent QC, and will fix any problem that slips through.

IAI also come highly rated, but their parts count require use of US floorplates and followers in mags.

Century is hit or miss.

However-.......

There are a number of 'smiths over at { fal files.com} that will build you a custom for about the same cost.
With fals, it truly seems you get what you pay for.

I have to break in here...I have an Entreprise built FAL, and it runs great. It started out with an "old style" receiver that Entreprise had found lacking in feedramp geometry. Mine ran fine, but I called them about it anyway. Lawrence answered the phone and told me to send it in and he'd put a brand new receiver on it for no charge...he said that they ran much better and that they looked nicer too. I liked Lawrence's service a lot.
