Which choke for slugs?

I have a mossberg 535 turkey gun and want to use slugs for the next deer season. Which choke is the best for rifled slugs? and I do realize that my extra tight turkey choke wont do. LOL

Most shotguns will shoot their best slug groups with the least amount of choke possible. Every once in a while, you'll get a rare gun that will actually shoot a modified as well as an I/C but that isn't an everyday occurance.

Most of my guns are choked IC and IM, they are all accurate. Two of my guns are full choke. The 12 gauge is accurate with anything and the 10 gauge is hopeless with anything over #3 shot. The only thing I won't shoot a slug through is super full and if I want to hit anything I won't shoot it through a cylinder bore. Just depends on your gun. My favorite compromise is IM but your gun may not agree.

OP,
The answer to your question will vary from gun to gun, slug brand to brand and choke brand to brand. That being said, the conventional wisdom and my personal experience, is that IC works best for rifled slugs. Others have more success with modified.
FWIW
YMMV
