Which .45?

I'm planning to purchase .45 for limited competition shooting. My pocket only allows me about $1000. Which do I get, Para P14/45 limited, Springfield loaded, Kimber, or Colt?
Please specify why? Thanks in advance.

With a $1000 budget you have some pretty decent choices. Rock River Arms is a good choice. I've heard very good things about them. You might also want to go to the gunsite web page and check out their GSP 2000. For $895 I think it's a steal.
