I do love my SIG-229 .40S&W, I do own a Glock-27 and love it and I have been thinking of buying the Walther P-99 in .40S&W. I also love my SIG-239 .40S&W and my H&K USP .357SIG.

I voted for the P99. I like mine a lot. It's hard to vote for the Glock 31 because it's .357 Sig. I think that you meant the Glock 22.

The Glock 31 isn't a .40; it's a .357SIG.

Do you mean the Glock 22?

Glock 31 + a factory .40 barrel. Or better yet, just get a Glock 22. Personally, I would get a 23 - it is more efficient size-wise. I have a G22 and I like it. The 23 is on my aquire list. Sig would be my close second choice. I would not buy a P99.

I'll stick with either my Browning HP or Steyr Model M thanks, both are better than excellent.

I have owned and fired quite a few 40s and the only ones I would have are the SIG P229 and the HK USP Compact.

I would pick the Sig 229. Now had the Glock choice been a G23 .40s&w, then that would have been my choice.

But since you gave these choices, I'd say go with the SIG.
