Whew! Finally back in the States!!!

Some of you might remember that I left 3 weeks ago for business trips to Germany and France. I finally got back today! 3 weeks without my guns! After living in those two socialist countries for 3 weeks, I am VERY thankful for the I am "allowed" to own firearms.

France is much worse than Germany. It amazed me talking to my French collegues on the topic of gun control. They seem to think that a shooting like Columbine's happen every month. They think that Americans are all gun owning wackos. As might as I tried to talk common sense into them, their socialist brainwashing was too much to overcome. We agreed to not discuss gun control while I was around. It made working there much easier.

After walking around the streets of Paris at night, I'm thankful that I can pack heat in Pennsylvania. At times, I wandered into the wrong section of Paris and was seriously worried about getting mugged. The French think they are the best at everything yet they have a 12% unemployment rate.

After weeks of eating two hour lunches and three to four hour dinners, I'm quite happy with the fast pace lifestyle in the states. Europeans are waaaaay too slow for my taste.

Hi Terri! I assume your surgery went well since you're on TFL! :) Right now, I am so lost with current events in the US!!!

I can't wait to get to the range. If the weather holds up, I'll go tomorrow. If not, I'll have to wait till June 10th!!!! I have a bunch of meetings this coming week. Then on June 6th, I have to go to Columbus, Ohio for 8 days :(

Surgery went great, I think I have totally recovered not suppose to be yet, but as for me I'm totally recovered, I'm feeling great and ready to face all of you in August. Thanks for asking.

Welcome back comrade. Glad some dole-collecting ward of the state didn't ice you in the shadows of a cobble-stone ally.
I think most of Europe is a write-off and will be for quite some time. No wonder Switzerland has fortified itself! They're surrounded by Trotskyite leftists.

Let's not forget: Lenin, Ho Chi Minh, Pol Pot and just about every other Communist worth their salt studied in Paris.

Their freak'n French Revolution set in motion more human misery in the past century than anything else, including the Nazis. The Franco-Germanic model of society is as horrid a thing any human has ever devised.

Regards

WELCOME BACK ArmySon! Too bad you were stuck in Paris. Agree about the feeling of being outside the protection of the herd,(We felt it in London too). The closest call we had in Paris in the train station. Did you notice how the cops were armed, in Paris and at the Airports? If you get a chance I'd appreciate your observations, just to compare them with a year ago. Anyway glad to have you back. P.S. everyone we're up to 5666 members! Keep spreading the word.

Welcome back :) My wife and I lived in Poland for 3 years and the first thing we did when we got back was to open the gun safe and clean everything. During the first 5 days we shot everything in the safe. You can't understand how it feels to be away from guns for 3 years. We couldn't have guns in Poland so my wife and I carried knives, mace and walking stick (kind with blade :D). No place better than good old US of A

OOps, :D
Police were everywhere at the airport. They were armed with junk French assault rifles. The police on the streets were armed with revolvers. I could not tell what kind due to the holster. Yes, France is beautiful but I still prefer the freedom of the United States!

I did take 13 rolls of film hehehe
