Where's a good place to get .454 Casull ammo?

Right now I'm looking for loaded stuff. After I figure out loading for .45 acp I'll move on to the Casull. Anyway, where's a good place. the best price I've found locally is $66 for 50 rds. Any suggestions?

Depends of you $ situation. Me I'm going to have to reload. Around these parts of GA; Cor*bon goes for $32-$40 a box of 20. I have seen only one place that carries Hornady Custom .454 and its was $28 a box/20. The least inexpensive that I have found is the Winchester 250grn HP at $20 to $22 a box/20.

The cheaper alternative, if possible is to shoot .45LC; that is what I have been doing since I bought my SRH. However, that dirties the forward part of the cylinder. Very soon, I will have enough .454 brass to reload my own, that looks like the only alternative for practice ammo in .454. BTW, starline is the least expensive new brass i haev seen so far at $20 to $28 for 100 unprimed brass. Winchester brass, I believed primed is going locally for $40 per 100.

If you find a good inexpensive place to find factory ammo, let the rest of us in on the info. Happy Hunting.

No, I haven't found an inexpensive place to get loaded ammo. I have swung back and forth on the idea of reloading it. I guess if I follow the load specs, I won't blow myself up. I think I'm going to do the same, maybe get 3-400 cases, and start reloading it. I have found Freedom Arms brand 300gr. flat points for $66 per 50...for that price, I'll reload. I can imagine some non-Casull shooters gawking at just the reloading price alone...if they only knew how much fun it is!

Natchez had MagTech 454 Casull 20 rd box for less than $15 in the last mailing. Try 1 800 251 7839 or http://www.natchezss.com
