Where to shoot in New Jersey

Hey guys,

I moved to New York as few months ago from North Carolina. Great for my career, my social life and my love life (it's where the likely future Mrs. lives) but TERRIBLE for my gun rights.

All my guns are back at the farm in Indiana (for now). But I've got the itch and I need to do some shooting.

I work with a bunch of young Brits, who have never had the legal right to own a handgun and never will. It would be a blast to take a couple along.

I'm hoping to find an indoor range where I can rent weapons within an hour's drive of Manhattan.

I don't want to have to take a class or sit through instruction. I want to rent a couple handguns and put some groups on paper.

Any ideas? The closer to Jersey City the better.

I only shot at three indoor pistol ranges while I lived there.

Ray's Sport Shop in North Plainfield. Worked there as a range officer. Didn't have rental guns.

Hillsborough Shooting Center in Hillsborough. I think they had rental guns. Only shot there once.

Shore Shot in Lakewood. They rented guns.

None of them are really close to Jersey City, but Ray's in North Plainfield isn't out of reach.
 
Both Rays and Hillsborough have closed. The only place I've heard that has rental guns is RTSP in Randolph N.J..[rtsponline.com] Never been there so I can't elaborate.
