As the title says...

Midway has the hogue hardwood grips with thumbrest but they are marked "spacial order 90+ days" and i would like something a little bigger.

Anyone know another brand/place to get them? I know they exist since i had a chance to shoot someone else's heavy barrel MKII with left hand grips. Unfortunately, i doubt i will ever run into the guy again.

I'd like something like this, made of wood for a left handed shooter. I'd really like finger grooves and a thumb rest. I've tried google and all of the online shops i know of (which isnt many)

I was watching a show on OLN last week, not sure if it was ShootingUSA or American Shooter. Jerry Miculek was on there demonstrating his techniques and they also had a vendor of a grip that he was using that was interesting. It was a thumb locator grip that promoted proper hand placement and better trigger control. I know that one of the guns it was available for was the MK II. I think they were also available for left hand shooters. Bad news is I can't remember the company name that manufactures them. If I find the info or remember I will post.

Nill Grips makes a grip like the Trailside. Ruger also sells grips for left-handed use on the Mk.II.

Thanks for all the replies. I was getting discouraged.

I think I might order from www.herrettstocks.com. They look like they are very good quality and they will make them to fit my hand which is nice since i wont be able to try them before i buy.

Hmm. $50. I can live without finger grooves considering they are over $100 less than the others I was looking at. Laminate wood is not a problem. I just don't care for the rubber grips from Hogue or Volquartsen (Sp?) for target shooting.

thanks for the link. I think these are a winner.
