where to buy S&W wood K frame grips?

I'd like to replace the current generation M10's Uncle Mike's Combat round butt rubber grip.
I called up S&W and the only ones they have for my gun is a Rosewood round butt with fingergrooved combat grip.

I'd like one of those old style M&P squared butt checkered service style grips. I see that Eagle Grips heritage series is close to that, but the Rosewood color is way too dark, the old style K frame grips on the M&P/M10 were much lighter in color.

Also would I need to get special grips to convert my new M10 round butt to a square butt? Those grips have extra wood to fill in the rounded corners, right?

Where else could I look besides Eagle Grips?

I think the Eagles are your only choice in a classic-style grip that's built to convert round butt to square. I think you can put the old-style factory square butt grips on it, and just have a gap at the rear (I've seen one person at the range with a gun set up like this). I guess it would be reasonable to do with the large "target" grips, but probably not with the smaller "service" grips.

One good source for off-the-shelf items - - -

CDNN is in Abilene, Texas. They have a huge inventory of Sile wood stocks for various handguns, plus a lot of factory originals. their prices range from reasonable to very low, and in my experience, their turn around time on orders is very quick.

Best,
Johnny

I am one of those who simply put the original square-butt target grips on my round-butted Smith.

I wish I had tried this years ago instead of buying all those sets of grips to fit that godawful round butt.

Yes, there is a gap at the bottom, and yes it looks crappy, but it doesn't affect the shooting aspect of it at all.

Good luck.
