Where to buy rem700 bolt handle?

Hi fellow shooters! Does anyone know who makes an aftermarket rem700 bolt handle who would ship to Australia? I snapped my bolt handle off after trying to remove a round that got stuck. I feel completely stupid even though I thought I was only tapping it gently!

IIRC these are brazed on and if the braze is poor it can easily break off ! Bring it to a gunsmith and have him WELD on a new handle. I don't know if you can get stuff from Brownees but they have handles for that.

I am sure Remington has a distributor in Australia. Can you send the gun to him either for repair there or return to Remington? It might take time, but the job would be done right. Because of headspacing concerns, they won't take just the bolt - they would need the rifle.

Most of the weld-on/screw on bolt handles depend on the stub being present. If the handle was broken off at the brazed joint there is nothing to drill and tap into and welding might not be a good idea because of the possibility of ruining the heat treatment of the cocking cam.

Ahh welding certainly would be stronger. No gunsmith I've spoke to in Australia makes bolt handles and to get one machined up they want over $300. Do you know how I can contact brownees? Thanks for the help! :)

That's the pic of my bolt. I'd prefer an aftermarket one with a bigger handle, the stock ones seem cheap and weak
