Where to buy an SKS?

Can anybody recommend a good dealer/store to buy an SKS from? I've leaning toward a Russian SKS.

It'll be for plinkin at the range, not hunting.

Feel free to email me with relevant info.

Thanks

Daniel, almost any well stocked gun shop will have a few SKSs around. If you want a Russian one, however, you'll have to prowl around. I don't know what state you live in but SKS rifles are pretty common. Also, you might want to check out some auctions like
auctionarms.com They have a few available and you can have them shipped to your local FFL. Look at a lot of them before you buy, however. There are so many that you can be picky. The prices are going up slowly as the quantity decreases. My SKS shoots great.

Centerfire Systems has Romanian SKS's. A Shooter's grade is 129.95 and a Collector's grade is 169.95. You'll need a C&R license or have a local gun dealer order one for you. These are the good ones with threaded barrels and machined parts.

Does Centerfire Systems have a website? "Search" doesn't turn up one...

Thanks!
