Where should I have my Springfields dehorned?

Gonna have to do it...after a couple of years with them, they're just too ugly and scratchy. Clark has the most extreme, and unattractive version, and is unacceptable, at least on my wife's gun. I believe the exact words were, "No way in **** are you doing that to my gun!" but they need some help. So, who do I send them to?

Why not start with Springfield's Custom Shop? If you don't like the pricing and suggested return time, you can always keep on checking around. geegee

I would suggest Clark custom guns or Triangle shooting sports for dehorning. I have used both and they do an excellent job.:)

Good Luck...how about before and after scans...or pics?

BTW...There are many smiths, that are not members yet. Some of them are very good...Get a recommendation from one of the guildsmiths that are listed if you don't already know one...

Scott & McDougal out in California does some BEAUTIFUL work.

I think their address is www.colt380.com If that doesn't work, flip the colt and 380.

Just heard from Mac, though. He's semi-retired in Oregon now, and is "telecommuting." He's no longer smithing.
