I did a tracert and it came up as being in Washington.... I only have 5 hops to it :D

Just wondering because there is a store called "The Firing Line" close to where I live. Ever hear of it?

Damn! Our secret location is public.

It'll only be a matter of time before they find out that the staff are all employed by the NSA... ;)

I know for a fact that at least one TFL member is a former NSA worker.

TFL is located "in the hearts and minds of free men everywhere". (Did Bogie say that?)
Even better (for us old coots) take Henry Fonda's speech at the end of Grapes of Wrath and substitute TFL when he says "I"!(Forget it, if your under about 53 you won't know what I'm talking about!)

Hey TexasVet

I'm way under 53 and know exactly what you mean. For fun I read Grapes (which left our heroes in a difficult situation) and saw the movie (which had the decency to end on an uplifting note).

That speech was quite stirring.

We don't have a Headquarters, if that's what you mean.

A storefront? What would we sell? (You'll notice that TFL is not selling anything. As such, you thus have a LOT more reason to believe what you read here.)

The servers that host our site are spread out, and besides, on the Internet, "location" is sort of ephemeral, anyhow. Does it really matter where the hard drive is exactly from which the magnetic data that recorded these words are derived is? The Administrators have likely never seen it. I THINK it's a commercial colocation outfit that Rich hired to host his site, s'far as I know. (But I may be wrong.)

No - I dont think Rich is paying anyone to host TFL anymore.
We have out grown hosting and Rich has purchased his own server just for TFL. With the ungodly amount of traffic we have - I dont think anyone would WANT to host us!

JFFAL, if you read "Grapes" for fun, then I willnot give up on America yet. Bravo!
