Where do you find shotgun "speedloaders?'

I keep hearing about "speedloaders" for shotguns, I think I know what they look like, but I have never seen one for sale anyplace. Am I blind? Where does one purchase them? Thanks

There's also that pesky problem of setting shells off as you shove the speedloader handle forward. :o You'd probably be better served (and safer :) ) if you got some safariland or california compworks shell holders.

Thanks. I was wondering why they are not more prevelent. It would seem like a good idea. The advertisement on that website gave suprisingly little info on the item, and made me wonder.

i shot a three gun match this weekend and most all us in the Open class had them--open class means you can have all the whistles and bells you want to on your guns.....the run-and-gun type match guys use them but i can't see any other use for them....they are not perfect and you may have to install an easyloader on your Remington to get the best function but it's not a requirement.......Dick

Being an onery old curmudgeon, I wouldn't use something in a "Practical" match I wouldn't use in the real world.

The amtch guns have gone the way of IPSC, with a standard gun not competitive any more.

The LE 3 gun matches I used to compete in used duty equipment, for me that was a Model 64 revolver in 38 Special, an 870, and a Mini 14. Mods were extremely limited.

That kept the playing field level and had more pertinence for training.
