I buy from large stores to get the best price. The last two new guns were bought from Midwest Shooters Supply (Lomira, WI), and Gander Mountain (Kenosha, WI). I would also buy from Cabela's (Richfield, WI). I've shopped some smaller sporting goods stores but the price markup is higher. I have a friend up north who gives good prices on used guns but rips you off on new ones. So I've bought a used O/U from him this year.

This is spam right?

LOL

No this is not spam!

the goal of my post is to

A.) learn of some stores with great deals on guns

-for instance not 2 days ago a random shop in Ohio was recommended to me. They sold me a stainless Ruger Charger for $219 shipped. Brand new

B.) pass on my favorite dealer

C.) have people check out my Youtube channel

I've bought guns at Gander Mountain in Madison, WI and Cabela's in Richfield, WI. Midwest seems to have great prices, though I have yet to buy anything there.
Bill's in Lomira is a nice little place, the guy who runs it is a super nice guy. Tom's Guns in Marshall, WI is a small shop, but the people who run it are super nice.

Bud's Gun Shop here in Lexington is the best I've EVER seen; they are historically lower than any other price I've seen on any gun. Ammo? Not so much, but they'll shave the price on a gun in a heart beat. I've bought my last 4 from them; checked around, no point in going anywhere else.

I prefer to buy used FTF. A lot of "nightstand" guns around here: bought, loaded and never shot;)

Otherwise here new or used:

Jon, Doug, Shawn have been there for years. Great guys, each with volumes more knowledge than I do. I dont even shop around anymore for price. If Im buying, they get my business.

Other gun shops around here act like they are doing you a favor showing you a gun even after you've spent a few $K with them. They have firearms in their shops they know nothing about. Drives me nuts
