Where can I get a romanian .22 trainer in Wisconsin?

After reading and looking at the romanian M1969 .22 trainer, I've decided I want a few to try and fix up. I know I can get them from gunsnammo.com, but FFL xfer fees and shipping are going to eat into my 'gun money' - almost to the point of being as expensive as the rifles.

Has anyone in wisconsin seen these for sale in state? I don't need the 'like new' variety, although I wouldn't mind getting one like that.

Dunham's sports has carried them. A couple months ago, they had them on sale for $49. Their regular price is $69, iirc.

No guarantees that they still have them.
 
Yes they were at dunhams as recently as 4 or 5 weeks ago. In the Milwaukee area....Anyone else shoot in the Milwaukee area??

I'm in the milwaukee area. I've found some dunhams that have the rifles - I got one from the cudahy store, and two from the milwaukee store near northridge.

The cuday rifle is 1983 vintage with the taiwaneese mag. The other two are from 1974 and 1984, but with the original mag. The original mags seem to be a much better fit.

I took a look at all the ones they had in stock, and these seem to be the best. The milwaukee store has one left, 1977, that looks pretty rough. The cudahy store still had 3, including the display model that has a cracked stock. Didn't like the condition of the other two.

In addition, the grafton dunham's said they had a few left. Didn't take the trip out there since 3 is enough right now.

They all had matching bolts / barrels (same serial#), but no cleaning kits in the stock. Oh well, can't complain for 69.99.

Now it's time to refinish these puppies!
