Where can I get a k98 mauser bolt

I have an opportunity to buy a k98 reciever with a Turkish bolt. I'd like to get the correct german bolt for this gun.
Should I worry about getting the right bolt or not?
If so where can I find one for sale?
Thanks

Try Sarco or Numerich Arms. Sarco has a website and they advertise in Shotgun News.
Good luck.

You can order one from AIM Surplus for $89.95. And it comes with a nice K98 rifle wrapped around it :) I noticed that my K98 and Turkish 1938 Mauser bolts are interchangeable (I was a little surprised). I don't plan to fire them with switched bolts and didn't check headspace, but the seem to fit and function fine. I'm not an expert on this, but I suspect that the Turkish actions (including bolts) were made elsewhere (probably Germany) and SOLD to Turkey. But that's just a guess.

You might check Tuco's Mauser Forum at http://www.paradise-web.com/plus/plus.mirage?who=tuco11&all=yes or the Turkish Mauser Forum at: http://members.boardhost.com/parallax/?959721344
