I have been searching for somewhere to find a poster of the 4 gun safety rules (treat every firearm as if it's loaded, always keep a firearm pointed in a safe direction, do not point a firearm at anything your not willing to destroy, Do not put your finger on the trigger until you are on target) but have had no luck. I am starting to teach my kids how to shoot and I want to put a poster (preferably in a frame) up in the living room so they will see it everyday. I have checked places like zazzle and allposter.com but no luck. They are 9 and 11 so I would like something simple not a whole bunch of guns on it or designs. Something to the point and plain so that there is nothing on it to distract them away from what it's meant for. Thanks.

I did the same thing for my kids when I was teaching them. I just pounded one out on the 'puter and printed it, then pinned it to the wall. I made them a deal that they could handle a gun, if they asked first and then recited the four rules. Worked good.
You might want to check out the Eddie Eagle safety program from the NRA and see if it might be helpful.

You can make up what you want on your computer. Get the wording, font and proportions as you want.
After you finalize your design, take it to your local Office Depot or similar place. They can print it on different weight paper or stock to various sizes.
Most have machines that can print 14" x 17". Many have the ability to go much larger. Call and find out.

What size do you want the poster to be?
It's easy to create it in PowerPoint,,,
Save it as a JPEG image format
Have it printed at Wal Mart.
They will do a 20 x 30 poster for less that $19.00
