Where are the anti weirdos?

You know, it's not too hard to find embarassing or "strange" pro-gun advocates- you know, like the ones who threaten to "exectute" every member of Congress, or who think their farm is a soverign nation...

So who are the "antis" that an average non-gun owner could see an strange, irrational weirdo? Let's exclude famous dicators and people who merely spread stupid propaganda.
 
There were several, but far less than a million, on buses in Washington here a few weeks ago. They called themsleves the Million Mom March.

Didya check out the article in last months Nra's 1st Freedom magazine about the wierdo's protesting the Republican convention. Check out the Kid with the "Abolish Private Property" sign. I would love to grab it from him and smash it up and then look at him and say where are your car keys. We are going to start with YOUR private property heheheh.

If you exclude dictators and people who merely spread stupid propaganda, who exactly are you looking for? That sounds like all the wierdest anti's in the country belong to one group or the other.

Rosie O'Donnel comes to mind--she's a little wierd, she's an extremist, and she's loud and rude. An exact counterpart to the "Bubba" image, just a New York version.
 
I've never seen a anti that wasn't completely whacked, usually they exhibit lack of self control, delusions, foam at the mouth with hate and would not hesitate to sentence all gun owners to death simply for owning a gun if given the chance to do it legally. The pro-gun movement may have some exccentric folks in it but they don't come near the throughing madness the anti side breeds.
 
Most wacked out anti I know of would have to be Ernest McGill. Hides behind a fake name, Gilbert Encyclesheimer Ernst, aka "GEErnst". Runs a Potemkin village "Institute" called the Potomac Institute, at http://www.potomac-inc.org

The guy is paranoid, seeing "NRA armed citizen guerrillas" behind every tree, a fantasy he bases on one sentence in a single letter by an NRA board member over ten years ago. He writes these long, obsessive letters about his political rationalizations for totalitarian government, and then can't understand why nobody will publish them. It doesn't even seem to occur to him that the fact that he's signing them with a fake name might have something to do with it!

All anti's I know orhave heard remind me of the old (or is it current)Paris sewer system. Their mouths are always open and nothing good ever comes out of it. :barf:
 
Most people aren't wacko's. Although both sides of the debate have their share. Just that our weirdo's get on the television and are blasted as the nuts they are. But put up an anti wierdo and this person is labeled as someone who is for common sense, or cares about the Chillen. In order to get labeled as a "Wacky-anti-gun-nut", you almost have to be a person who is also a "Wacky-anti-free-press-nut". Sorry BTR, we won't know about the Wacko's on the anti side because nobody in the press wants to admit they exist. :(
