When Did the Charter Arms Pathfinder Become an 8 Shot?

I just bought a 2" Charter Arms Pathfinder, and its an 8 shooter. The websight still shows it as a 6 shooter. I have been eyeing the Pathfinder for a while, wanting to replace my Taurus Model 94 with the Pathfinder, because of issues with the Taurus, but was hesitant because of the 6 shot capacity. I was in my LGS today, and asked to see the 2" Pathfinder. I bought it on the spot when I realized it was an 8 shot. The Lockup is supurb, the DA trigger is pull is half what the 94 has, and the SA is light, crisp, and almost creep free. Perfect.

Interesting.

I was just looking for DA/SA .22LR snubs (and not finding many new models) to have as a less expensive per-round alternative to go along with my 2.25" SP101. I figured keep it in the same general snub platform but have less expensive range trips while I practice my DA trigger pull. Anyway, I was looking at the Charter Arms website an hour ago and seen the Pathfinder. I said to myself.. "That looks perfect, but I wonder why they have only 6 rounds when there is so much more meat to the cylinder?"

Hmmm.... very interesting.

If you don't mind me asking, How much were those going for? (I'm seriously considering one now).

I paid $339 new. I have this same thread going on another forum, and a response was made that they emailed Charter Arms, and Charter said that all Pathfinders will soon be 8 shot revolvers. I assume this also means the 22 WMR revolvers. I dont know if any of the other barrel length 22 Long Rifle Pathfinders have made the switch to 8 shot yet, but both the good LGSs near me, had the 8 shot 22 snub, and no other lengths.
