For me it'd be either the .22lr or 9x19, can't choose between those two so I voted both.

.22 is one of those great rounds that aren't specifically a handgun round,but no one could live without.Everyone should buy at least one handgun in .22

I prefer the 45 ACP as a defensive round. Why, im comfortable that it will take just about anyone down in a few shots to COM... 10mm is a great round too but may be a bit much for some people.

I voted for the 10 as that is what I carry but I do shoot about 10x as many 22lr.
I'm surprised at how badly the 40 is doing in this poll though.

Your poll seems to not have .45 Colt. That and the .45 acp are what I'd shoot as much as I now shoot .22lr if I was really wealthy or they suddenly cost lots less.

I voted 44mag

Love my 44 mags (Vaquaro's & Marlin 23" cowboy) I just fill 'em up with trail Boss & go shootin'

Closely followed by 9x19 and 22Lr

I only voted on calibers I own, which is .357mag. But, I like shooting 44mags which I don't own, but I keep some (10) 44mag +Ps in my range bag.

I 460 is pretty cool just once or twice in my buddies S&W 2 1/2 barrel.

But I also like .38s out of snubbies, 22lr out of my Bobcat, and 9mm out of my CZ75B.
