If you could only have one cap & ball revolver to shoot, which revolver pattern or base model would you consider to be your favorite that would you choose to own and shoot exclusively?

Stainless Old Army with fixed sights.

That said, the grip on an 1860 is wonderful as is the Walker and Early Dragoon.

Cheers,
Oly

I'll keep my stainless Ruger with adjustable sights (I just swapped the front blade -- I don't know what they were thinking at the factory).

I mislabel the Colt 1860 Army

I'm sorry, I mislabeled the "Colt Army Model 1860" as the Colt 1860 Old Army.
It's not called an "Old Army" at all but is simply known as the Colt Army.

I really love the .36 1861 navy. so sweet.
But, If I can only keep one it has to be an ROA, one that won't wear out 'till I do. My .02 cents

The 1861 Navy.

It has to be my 1851 Colt Navy and 1861 Colt Navy - basically the same for me - well balanced and in my hand size, they just seem to fit perfect!

I think my 1858 is the prettiest pistol I ever saw, and I do love shooting it. But if I can only shoot one, ever, it's going to be the one that is easiest to clean. That would be the 1851.

Hello all

My favorite revolver is Remington New Army 1858. I use it a lot on the fire place to shoot 25 - 50 meters on the soda box for exemple !
But i want to tell that Colt Navy 1851 is the revolver i use to fast draw. Very good to play it on... :D

Nice pair indeed, Fingers.
My only C&B revolver is an 1858 but I'd like to add a Colt Walker someday. Why no votes for this one?

Toss up between the '51 Navy and the '60 Army. They both seem perfectly balanced in the hand. I voted for the '60 but either one suits me fine!
