What's your DREAM GUN?

I just got my first 1911 style (should finally be here next week) I was interested in the Para-Ordanace LDA with its DAO since I already own Glocks but EVERY gun store I went into KIMBER is what I was told to buy so that is what I bought. For better of worse. :) I told look into the Springfield as well because alot of people said it was pretty good. The Loaded model was cheaper but to me it felt cheaper. Not to put it down or anything I am sure it is a fine gun and someday I may buy one but the Kimber without shooting it seemed to be of finer quality.

OH YEAH my dream gun would be a more eye pleasing Glock. I love the things but man they aint much to look at.

HK UMP45! (not the ugly UMC)

Ok, sounds like your looking for a pistol.

HK Mark23!

Maybe you don't have $2K laying around.
USP45 Tactical or USP45.

Can you tell I'm a HK fan? :)

A Sig P210 carry gun in .357sig. Maybe with a beavertail grip safety and an extended frame mounted safety, and loprofile novak sights. I'd pay $1500 for one of those.

I'd like a NEW Wilson Customized Kahr for $200.00... that's why it's called a "dream gun."

I could also use a Glock 23-C
Sig 229 .357 Sig
S&W 4013
Beretta 96G Brig
HK Compact 40

Then I could die a happy man,
Ben

Hey Svt,

That's a nice 1911 you're describing there... ...I'm impressed. Where does that kind of inspiration come from? ;)

My favorite gun would be the one Kim Basinger used in the movie "The Getaway"

Kim,using the auto while glistening in sultry sweat was, nice, very nice.

Anyway,tough to beat a Hi-Power or Beretta.

A well placed nine beats a miss hit with a cannon all to hell.

Good Luck!

Greetings; My dream gun has been around since
1975; it's called the Sig-Sauer P220A in .45
ACP. The best, out of the box weapon currently available. Take one for a
test drive; you'll fall in love with
it!!! :D

I'd say that a chrome-plated Steyr M9 with pearl handles ought to work nicely, preferably with a matching lace holster :D

hahah Mikey! I'll definitely give credit where credit is due. I saw your post on the commander size. With the exception of some my favored Baer parts, full-size instead of commander, a lot is similiar to yours on GunSpot. What can I say? You have exceptional taste :D :D :D :D

My dream gun? Any gun I could purchase without a background check, waiting period, fingerprinting, permits, NICS, fees, etc. You know, without infringement.

Sorry.

Would have to be an HK USP .45 Tactical with Trijicon and laser sights. Oh, and throw on a silencer so I could practice in the backyard w/o the cops being there in 5 minutes. Hell, throw in an MP5 with a supressor as well if it's only a dream! My God, the fun that I would have! :)

My dream pistol would be the damascus Caspian that Terry Tussey builds. The one that was on a magazine cover a few yrs back was absolutely gorgeous!

I'd like one of the two (I'm not greedy, I'll let someone else have the other one.) .45 ACP Lugers made for the US Army to test in the early 1900's. If your talking about a new one, I'll have what Svt is having.

Teach a kid to shoot. It annoys the antis.

My dream gun does not exist - it is a dream. But if it did this is what it would be:
- good looking
- .45 acp +P
- double stack 10+1 mag in the grip, 15+1 with a grip extension
- grip no thicker than a 1911
- 4.25" high or less
- 6.75" long overall or less
- 26 oz or less
- Matte Stainless Steel and Titanium only
- frame mounted ambi safety doubling as decocker
- internal safeties of a Beretta
- reliability and durability of a Glock
- thin enough for easy concealed carry
- MecGar mags
- LDA trigger, fully adjustable, like LDA Para
- fully adjustable snag free tritium sights
- delayed blowback action
- soft recoil reducing grips
- side ported for fast target reacquisition and no night vision effect

What do you think? What did I forget?
