Whats the status of Tom Burcyzkies(sp.) new Federal round?

A while back there was a big discussion when Tom Burcyzkie (I'm sorry, I know that I'm mutilating his last name), inventor of the HydroShok, QuickShok, Starfire, etc. revealed his latest invention.

Its a hardball shaped round with some sort of liquid center that expands regardless of what clothing it passes through, and it feeds like hardball. At the time nobody was sure if these where going to be LE only or availible to everybody.

Any news?

Also what ever happened to those ultra fast pistol rounds from Texas? The composite ones with ridiculously high velocities? Haven't heard anything about those for a while either.

The design is called EFMJ (Expanding Full Metal Jacket). It has an elastomer pellet in between the jacket and the lead core, not a liquid. As I understand it, the design will be released to the general public after it is evaluated by the BATF to ensure that it is not an AP round. I don't have confirmation of this, just some friends in the industry who claim to know.
