    2. Copyright law provides for “fair use” of portions of a copyrighted work. You can copy no more than a SINGLE paragraph from the article to your post (3 or 4 sentences at most).

    3. You must provide a link to the article along with the name of website. For example: ww.xxx.yyy/zzz (The Lower Thumbsuck Daily News).

    4. You must provide, in your own words, a brief summary of the article AND your reasons for believing it will be of interest to TFL members. Failure to do so may result in the thread being closed or your post being deleted as a “cut and paste drive by.”

    5. Photographs and other images are also copyrighted. "Hotlinking" of images (so that it appears in your message) from other sites is also prohibited unless you own rights to the image. If you wish to share an image, provide a clickable link to it.

Posts that do not follow these new guidelines will be altered or deleted by staff. Members who continue to violate this policy may lose their posting privileges at TFL.

what's the point of the friend request?

kristop, we're kinda wondering about that also.
I guess it's an enhanced "buddy" list.

Winston - look at anyone's public profile page other than your own, it's on the right/center.

And for the record, I have: 2,deuce,dos, thats right Two friends:).

I think I am going to make it a point to request everyone I can, as a friend. That would make me the most popular guy here. And then when I'm long gone, ya'll can look back in retrospect, and wonder why I was so popular.:D

Is "aloof group" latin for "friendless losers?"
Actually it's a term used most often by benchrest shooters when they find a wiggly scope mount.

"That's quite aloof group you shot there. You need to tighten up the scope rings."

I can vouch for Kristop's claim.

I been experimenting with it. Instead of filtering through the long list of names to see who's logged in that I enjoy reading their posts, I tag them as friends. It's faster for me. Also, it gives me an indicator if they're online we can actively PM each other instead of waiting for the next day for a response.

Good to know my 1st friend showed up on my behalf:D

I think if I start requesting friends, they will begin to think I am a narcsosistic, ego-maniac....which may be true, but is noone's buisness but mine....;)

"Narcsosistic"? Is that a person who does drugs, but they think they look really good doing it?

:D Sorry, that one was impossible to resist!

Can I request that I be my friend?.... probably the only way I'll get one...

OK scrap that! I don't want me as a friend. I wouldn't even live with myself, but every time I go home, there I am!
