whats the diff Kahr vs. Elite 98's?

I'm looking to get a Kahr K40. I was wondering whats the difference between a regular Kahr and an Elite?

Trigger and the finish. The K40 is a Matte stainless, the Elite is polished up. The trigger cocking on the elite travels a little easily and then hits full load without much further travel it breaks. Played with one the other day, nice trigger. The regular stacks quite a bit and has one heck of a long stroke. I still like mine (MK40) just fine though.
 
The trigger pull is reduced from 1/2" on the K to 3/8" on the Elite and is lightened up marginally. Very nice on the few Ive got to play with. Shoot well

I have the Elite, and it's a pleasure to shoot. Once I put a hundred or so rounds through it (and lubed it all up) the trigger got buttery smooth. So good, in fact, that it almost makes you want to spread it on toast and eat it!
 
Which is a better finish (more durable?). The stainless or the electroless nickel??

I don't like shiny, i like matte, but I like a better trigger also.

From their website, they say the feed ramp is extra polished also.. Which appeals to me. My Steyr has some serious polish on the feedramp...
 
I have an MK40 Elite 98 and I was real surprised how nice the trigger is.

However since my preferred mode of carry in the summer is a belly band I almost wonder if the regular trigger would be safer.
