What's the best gun safe?

I'm getting ready to purchase a quality gun safe. All of the safes that I've looked at seem to have several features that are appealing. I'm not interested in the fancy paint or gold fixtures, as the safe will not be in the open. I'm just looking for a good basic safe that offers protection from BG's and fire. Is there a specific manufacturer that you'd recommend? FT. Knox? Browning? Who? Please tell me why.

Also, what options (dehumidifier, lights, upgraded fire package, etc...) should I definitely get? What should I avoid? Thanks in advance.

Don't forget to check out safe dealers for used safes. Watch out for records safes which don't really offer that much protection.

In http://www.gunforums.com under Gene Williams' Tactical Lady forum there was a discussion about safes. You'll probably have to set the default to 60 days back to check it out.

Check out:http://www.smithsecurity.qpg.com/ This company sells a quality safe at a very reasonable price. I would recommend lights and as much fireproofing as you can afford.
