Anyone have any thoughts on what's the best .32acp mini-gun for concealed carry? Anyone who is carrying one of these mini-guns on a daily basis, how about voicing a review?

Kel-tech?
North American Arms Guardian?
Seacamp?
Others?

i have owned many pocketguns including the ones you have mentioned, the guardian was too heavy, seacamp, carry sometimes great gun very expensive and hard to find, searched 7yrs to buy one reasonably, still don't have a good pocket holster for it. kel-tec p-32 is the best choice, superlite, reliable (mine is) and puts em' were its pointed, the only thing i could see that would be a better choice is if & when kel-tec come out with a 380acp as small. (seacamp has and naa has some prototype 380's)

I don't have much experience with true pocket guns, other than brief affairs with a Jennings J-22 *blush* and a Pheonix HP-22. I have had my chrome-slide Kel Tec P-32 for about two months now - it's been with me pretty much every day since I picked it up. I've only put about 200 rounds through it, but it has yet to jam. It's EXTREMELY light - most of the time I forget I have it with me. I have it with me right now at work - it fits really well in the oversized watch pocket of my UnionBay shorts, along with other carpenter type jeans and shorts. When I tuck my shirt in, I carry it behind my wallet in my back pocket. It's 90 degrees today - shorts and a t-shirt are standard attire, and it's as easy to carry and conceal as a pocket knife. I was thinking about getting NAA Guardian, but the Kel-Tec is MUCH lighter, flatter, half the trigger pull of a guardian, about 150$ cheaper, and carrys one more round. I absolutely love mine. No, the 32ACP isn't a .50AE, but at close range FMJ ammo should do an adequate job. The sights are pretty much useless, but it points REALLY well - like a Luger or a Glock. From 7 yards using both hands in a Weaver style grip, I can keep all eight shots in the head section of a shilouette target with semi-rapid fire. Rapid fire, especially with one hand, will open the group up a good bit, but you can still keep them all in center mass if you practice.

Needless to say, I'm totally pleased with my P-32. Other people's experiences vary - I've heard some guys on this board say they've had major probs with theirs. But mine is an absolute gem - I keep it loaded with 8 Fiocchi FMJs and won't hesitate to rely on it, but I don't totally expect to put a determined attacker down with it. My personal theory of defense with a "mousegun" is "empty the gun as fast as possible without missing, as close as possible, in the direction of your attacker, cranio-ocular area if you can, center mass otherwise - then run like hell or be prepared to do two things: duke it out or reload."

However, when the weather cools down and clothing becomes more of a neccesity, the 18-shot Glock 19 at home in the safe will
return to active duty. :-)

I went to the guns store ready to buy a NAA Guardian. I handled a P-32 first, and never looked at the NAA again. I carry it every day that I can't carry my .45 (quite a bit) and I find it very reliable.

I love my P-32, although I can't really call it mine anymore. My wife stole it from me shortly after I brought it home! :(

Stoic, I see that you live in the N.O. area.
email me sometime.

I used to own a seecamp, sold it to a friend who was dying to have it. I now carry the Autauga MK II .32. it, the seecamp & guardian are pretty much the same size & weight (seecamp is slightly lighter & smaller than the others). they are all great guns.
the most comfortable to carry & has one extra round to boot (7+1) is the kel-tec p-32. it shoots roundnose ammo which seecamp & autauga won't. it is longer than the others but thinner and much lighter (6.6 oz). if you own just one .32, that is the one to get. i have one also but my wife took it.

We'll the Seecamp formerly held the top spot but the NAA Guardian and Keltec have alot to offer in a less expensive package.

I have an NAA Guardian .32 that I carry just about everywhere. I often forget it's in my pocket (strong side front). It's more than accurate enough for what I want it for and its better than carrying nothing. I'm very happy with it and I now see that their custom shop has lots of custom work that they can do to them. I'm considering sending mine back for a set of nite sights.

I know my local FFL sold several Keltec P32's with only one that had to go back for work. As far as I can recall, it came back and functions 100% now.

I just went and got my .32's out of the safe so I could look at them as I respond. Some people say that they like to keep their .32's loaded with FMJ. Both my Guardian and P-32 fire Fiocchi 73gr. FMJ without problems. However, I perfer to shoot hollow points. My Guardian is 100% with Silvertips, but it jams on Hydra-Shoks. That's OK. I like Silvertips. On the other hand, my P-32 has fired every brand of ammunition that I've tried. I like to keep it loaded with Hydra-Shoks. From the P-32, the Hydra-Shok's seem a little stronger than the Silvertips. It could be my imagination I guess, but the report and the recoil tell me that the round is stronger.
By the way. My gun shop owner tells me that he's quit carrying Fiocchi ammo due to several complaints. I've only used Fiocchi .32 caliber FMJ and it has been reliable. Has anyone had any trouble with Fiocchi?

A week ago I would have said Kel-tec P32 but mine died. It is now a snow bird recovering in Florida. I hope it works when Kel-tec is done with it. I have shot ShallCarry's P32 and liked it enough to buy the one that is basking in the sun. Regards, Richard.
