So whats on your short lists/long lists?

Short List:
9mm 1911, prefererably the Taurus 1911b-9

Short list : To buy an AR15 by the end of the year. Hopefully I will achieve that somewhere around October or November.

Long list : 2010, the year of the Wilson Combat. I want the Classic model.

Short list, a 9mm. It's the only one of the standard chamberings I don't have covered right now. Glock preferred, on account of good parts support.
 
short list:

snub nose ruger sp101 or 3"/4" ruger gp100 (already have 6")

ruger mark III or ruger single six

long list:

Beretta 92

NAA mini revolver

5" 1911 (probably springfield, para or kimber)

double barrel 12 ga (haven't picked a brand/model yet)

and a rifle ~ .223 to .308 area. really haven't looked around much.
 
Short List:

S&W 325 Night Guard, S&W M66 2.5", 9mm 1911 (perfer STI or S&W)

Long List:

Double Rifle chambered in 450/400 3" and an African Cape Buffalo safari on which to use it.
 
Next gun will be an AR-15. Pretty much have what I need as far as handguns, rifles and shotguns except never got around to an AR.
 
Short list:
POF P-308
Stainless Springfield 1911. I already have a satin stainless, but I want shiny!

Long List:
25mm revolver. :eek:
Some kind of scout rifle. Not sure what yet.
 
Short list:

Mosin Nagant 91-30
My homebuilt 7.62x25 Carbine :cool:
Another Ruger 10/22

Long List:

AK-type rifle (homebuilt of course)
Springfield '03
Dragunov or FPK paratrooper

Short list: any full size 1911 that strikes my fance at the time. Preferably stainless.
A G19 ftf
And a Saiga 12 with a 10 or 12 round mag.

Long list: Who knows? ADD kicks in at that point.
 
I like this thread. :D

I've noticed a few people naming S&W Night Guards - I want one too. I didn't mention it on my original post because I know if I stick with my "plan", there's no way I can get one this year or next year. But I like them all. I guess my main pick of the Night Guards would be the model 327, an 8 shot .357 :eek:

I'll call this my extra long list. :p
