I have a handgun, not sure of the brand but on the left side it says mod. rg 14 cal .22 lr RG IND. Miami Fla. Its a 22 pearl handle pistol from my grandmother, I would say back in the 1930-40s , Its in mint shape, not worn out, the bottom of handle has serial number 461708. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

RG = Rotten Guns , typical cheap Sat. Nite Specials.

Worth $25-50 , or a pair of sneakers , or $100 grocery coupon at the next inner city police gun turn-in program.

it's a Rohm pistol

i've got an RG-24 that's really not that bad of a pistol

good enough to shoot a bee off a shooting table with (though probably a lucky shot)

the ones i've seen for sale have gone for under $100

Whatever you can get. Or save for the sentimentality.

Pretty typical pot-metal Saturday night special, although they may have been made slightly better back then.

But between $25-100, depending on condition is about right.

If you want to sell it, start at 75-100, but prepare to take less.

Thanks for the info, I have had it in my safe, never used it and dont even know how to load it, but just thought I would keep it since it was passed down from grandma to my mom to me, its in like new shape for being so old, I also was told it wouldnt do much damage if someone was shot with it. Thanks again

I inherited an RG- something.. its a snubbie .22LR.

Shoots like crap. at 10 feet with any ammo it shoots almost 9" up and left of POI.

I'm scared to shoot it now. It has sentimental value so I will keep it in my safe. Was the wife's maternal GM's gun when she was a Juvie Officer.
