What's a Rexio??

I was looking through one of my old gun rags and found an ad for Rexio revolvers!! I tried to go the their web site, but found they are no longer in bussness!!
So, what the heck was it!
 
I believe that Rexio is Argentinian for RG

I checked out a .22 a few years ago, was afraid if I dropped it it would shatter into little zinc shards
 
We had one in the shop years ago

And along with Sir William, was a major POJ.
Normaly I use this rule.
If a gun company goes out of business,,,,,
There is probably a reasion!
 
Ok. We've established that they were junk.
Who made them??
Where did they come from??
Who imported them??

Don't worry guys, I don't want one!!! I was just curious, that's all!!! ;)

It was something I had never heard of. :D
 
The Rexio I saw and turned down for purchase was made in Mexico.I remember it having a steel frame but not much else.I got a Windicator instead.
