The thorough cleaning and lubing of a Colt Series 80 .45 ACP? I only know to field strip it and this gun needs a complete going over.
 
I would look to pay $45-60 for a detail cleaning of a 1911. It takes an hour or just slightly less to do it right and verify everything is OK, and an hour of time for a specialist in any other field seems to start at about $65 per hour. Even auto mechanics nowadays are $65 and up. Pay your gunsmith at least what you would pay an oil change monkey.
 
I do a detail strip, clean and inspection for 30.00, Spring replacement with Wolff springs for 35.00 or both for 55.00. This is on any 1911.
