What's a fair price for a Taurus 908?

Anyone have any idea what would be a fair value/price for the subject line gun (9 shot 9mm Para, with 2 factory mags and instructions, no box, in about 85% condition - from holster wear)

I have one, and am thinking of selling or trading it. Was hoping to be able to do a straight trade for a bolt on type light for my Glock 23 and a flashlight forend for an 870. Would this be reasonable to get out of a trade? Thoughts?

TIA,

Rob

jetrecbn1,

I won't know how much to ask for it until I have a better idea as to value. Hence the reason for the post.

Depending on age and wear, I'd say $250... maybe less. You said it's pretty well worn. Is it similar looking to the PT-911?

Not familiar with the 911 off hand but the 908 looks just like the 940 or 945 just in 9mm caliber. It would be in what I consider to be 85% condition as described in Fjestead Blue Book (sic) BTW I gotta get one of those one of these days, but I guess I'm just too cheap.........errrr......frugal.

Ben, the 908 is the predecessor to the 911. 911 has a double stack mag, and the 908 is single stack, and has a bit slimmer of a grip because of it.

Rob62, I gave $245 for my PT-908 last year, same condidtion, but it only came with one mag, so I'd say $250.

Eric,
Thanks for the info. How do you like your 908? Do you feel handicapped by the 9 round capacity? Overall I feel its a fairly big gun to just hold 9 (8+1) rounds? Comments?

I've been thinking of getting a Kel Tec P11 if I can't get the light/s that I am looking for/

Rob62, I don't like double stack magazines. It has nothing to do with any reliability issues, I just don't like them.
