What's a Fair Price-1903 Springfield

Need some help determining a fair price to pay for a neighbor's 1903 (modified).

RA 6-42 with bursting bomb on barrel. Receiver marked U.S. Remington Model 1903 3148XXX. Hatcher hole on left of receiver. Parts (bolt, front sight, etc. marked with R. RA symbol FJA on left of stock. J and circled P on bottom of stock. Milled parts. Shiny bore, shoots nice.

Any thoughts? Jeff.

Thanks Jim. I've been there, and you're right that there's alot of info. Problem is (and since my neighbor is leaving it up to me to determine a fair price), there's ALOT of disagreement on the Remington Modified's, when the cartouches changed, when modifications took effect, etc. Just trying to get the most opinions on this one, to not overpay OR underpay.
