What would you do?

I wish the thread starter poster would state what they would do (what would you buy?) as a lead in or at least a reason why they are posting the question. You must be giving serious thought to a particular gun you are about to buy. ???

I do not have anything in mind. My wife is asking me what I want for Christmas. If 8 grand is the limit, I would probably want a mid-priced over and under in 12 gauge.

I would buy a silencerco sparrow for a .22lr.....:D

whoa.... I thought i read 800.00.
But with 8000.00, hmmm i dont know if i could spend that much on a gun, even if i had it. If i HAD to get something it would havce to be a full auto for that price.

As one of a few shotgunners here, it would go towards a nice target gun, like a Perazzi or Kreighoff. Unfortunately, Euro-dollar exchanges have meant their costs have risen above that mark now to almost 10K - but it would make it a lot easier to afford........

At-a-boy Patriot, now we're talking. I'd have to go with the H&K MP5 and then spend whatever I have to, to make it automatic. That's about $5000 so I'd take the extra $3000 and pick up a Barret .50 cal and then spend the rest on ammo if I have any left over. How's that for some dream guns :p

Save up another 2-3K & buy a fine conditioned Sharps Borchardt Mid-Range.
Or if you can't wait, a high conditioned Ballard, Stevens or Win. High-wall actioned Pope.
