What will we as 2nd Amendment supporters do?

I asked this question on another thread and then thought it should be a separate one:

The Question:
On November the 8th, IF Gore/Liarman win the election, the gun-grabbing-liberal-democrats also win back the House of Representative, and Hillary Klinton gets into the Senate and/or the Liberals win back the Senate as well ... What will we do?

Your answers?

I for one feel that we are all going to hang separately if we don't hang together.

------------------
... But as for me, give me liberty or give me death!

What kind of answer do you want? Once the balloon goes up (that's what you just described), I would imagine that ATF agents will be reinforced by either our local LEO's, the military or foreign units supplied by the UN (or all three). And think about it. Would the UN 'duck its responsibility to help' if that request came DIRECTLY FROM THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES???

Expect firearms confiscation to begin before Al Gore leaves office. Unless he does so unexpectedly, for whatever reason.

What can we do? Fight! Tooth and nail, hammer and claw, in every way imaginable. And support those that fight. That's about it.

OR we can all roll over and give up our guns, then all our other freedoms, in the name of 'keeping the children safe'. God how I hate that overused, worn out, useless sentiment.

Try to win the next set of elections. Try to take back the house in two years.

Or do you want the chest pounding revolution horsepoop again?

Why should our actions be different depending on who becomes President?

"[Even if there would be] few tears shed if and when the Second Amendment is held to guarantee nothing more than the state National Guard, this would simply show that the Founders were right when they feared that some future generation might wish to abandon liberties that they considered essential, and so sought to protect those liberties in a Bill of Rights. We may tolerate the abridgement of property rights and the elimination of a right to bear arms; but we should not pretend that these are not reductions of rights." -- Justice Scalia 1998

Not very long ago, the Clinton/Gore Whitehouse published a "position paper" which, in a nutshell, said that the 2nd Ammendment was considered "settled law" and that citizens of this United States do not have the RKBA. The ACLU actually omits the 2nd Ammendment from the copy hanging in their office. They, too, consider this "settled law" and this is why they don't come to the aid of law abiding citizens who have had run-ins with the proper use of handguns and rifles. When was the last time you heard of anyone enlisting the aid of the ACLU to fight for their 2nd Ammendment rights? You can certainly remember them fighting for 1st Ammendment rights but never, never, never the 2nd Ammendment.

The bottom line, TLFers, is that if anyone here votes for Gore, then you might as well turn you weapons in right now and get it over with.

Ya know, there is a ominous joke that I've heard recently: Why do Englishmen oil their gardens? It's because that's where their guns are! I, for one, don't want to be in that position and while I hate to make this a one-issue race, the protection of the 2nd Ammendment is really going to be an issue with Gore in the Whitehouse regardless if the Republicans hold the House and Senate. If you think that the last year has been tough to take, what will the next FOUR years be like?? Vote for Bush and Vote often!

I've heard some saying or writing that they will vote for Gore in order to bring the issues to a head soon rather than four more years of the Republicans slowly turning the screws on us. I'm afraid that the consequences of a Gore win will be civil war. Regardless of the rose-colored views of glory and macho guts, it will be horrible, guts-on-the-ground, nation-rending war. The Civil War was extremely brutal to all involved in actually fighting it.
