... of the old humped back L-frame that S&W came out with about 10 years ago???

All I remember is that they were ugly as sin and I think they had aluminum frames.

The old now defunct gunshop I used to freuqent had one in his case for years, I could never remember what the model number for the beast was. However, if my memory serves me right, this beast was chambered in .45LC!!! :eek: In fact, that was why I never gave it a home!!! ;)
Why have something that ugly in an obscure caliber!!

Where would I find such a beast nowadays?? I might be willing to give an old 242 a home!!
 
To the best of my knowledge there never was a Bodyguard chambered in .45 Colt.
Finding a M242 may take some doing as they only made them for one year. They couldn't give those things away.
