what upgrades for my colt commander?

I have a Kimber and want to get my Colt Commander up to that level (almost) trigger wise. I'm considering the Chip Mcormick trigger sear and hammer, is there smithing' involved or is it drop in? Other ideas welcome!

Good choice. These are very critical parts to fit. I strongly suggest you get a 1911 savy gunsmith to fit them. Also you might upgrade the sights and the grip safty.

ed brown hardcore hammer, sear, and disconector just fitted will give you about a 4# trigger pull, and mucho durability.

also, lots of rave reviews from the most premier gunsmiths, the bcp ignition system.

cant go wrong with either of these(unless you have me try to install em... ).

I agree with BMW about installin em. Definately have a 1911 gunsmith fit it in.
