What triggers will look best in my Remington R1's?

Call me indecisive, call me curious, call me what you will, but I cant decide on my own.

Many of you know by now, I have 2 Remington R1 1911's. A Black and a Stainless.

I AM going to add a long trigger to each of them. I just cant decide what style and what color. I will NOT be changing out the bushing on the black one for a black bushing, I like the look of the stainless.

I thought just plain solid aluminum triggers would look good but there are so many others, black and solid for the black, black with 3 holes for the black, etc.

Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure I will get a solid aluminum trigger for the stainless one, I just think it looks best. But I'd also like to find a trigger for each gun that has not only the adjustment screw for over travel, but also the two little tabs that can be bent forward for minimal take up.

I've done a fair amount of searching online. But I haven't found anything that really says "This is the one".

Thanks for the input and opinions!

Who cares how pleasing to the eye a 1911 trigger is? How does the trigger perform should be the greatest consideration.

Man oh man, you guys...

I agree, performance is key.

Soooooooo.... any suggestions for a nice looking properly functioning trigger?

I would assume that most available triggers will provide adequate performance and quality provided they are fit properly to the gun. Unless the trigger is just an out of spec piece of junk. So why not choose one that is visually appealing?

Heck I'd even settle for a link to a site where I can view more triggers and I'll figure it out myself... I haven't found much just browsing through Brownells and Midway for whatever reason.

I will be fitting the triggers my self (if necessary) and polishing the sides and back of the trigger bow (if necessary) as well as making sure the magazines can move in and out freely. Also adjusting for pre and over travel.

Since these are series 80 guns, this will be my guide.

I think a contrasting color would look best on the black pistol. I also prefer the skeletonized triggers best.

Stainless and plain aluminum look good, but a contrasting dark color would look good as well, but it works best if other controls are also a dark color.

I think a long skeletonized trigger looks best but I'm keeping the short A1 style triggers in my two R1s because they feel right.
