What to pay for a used Springfield M1911-A1

I'm going to be going to some gun shows, and am in the market for a Springfield M1911-A1, loaded, preferably hi-cap, but not necessary. What can I expect to pay for a used gun in alright condition (I want to shoot it, not hang it on the wall)? Any ballpark ranges? I'm in Northern VA if that matters.

Hight Capacity (w/beavertail safety and skeletonized hamer) $625.00

Knock approx $50-$100 dollars off those prices for a used gun in very good condition.

In my opinion its hard to justify a thicker grip just for two extra rounds, so I'd stick to the standard. With Wilson or McCormick mags you can get 8+1 in a standard 1911.
