What to do first?

A few months ago I purchased a Arcus 94(Browning Clone)for next to nothing. I have been very pleased with the way it performs. Considering how much I paid for the pistol I could afford to make it a little better. I have never owned anything but out of the box pistols.. I am curious to see if I am missing out on anything. What would be the first thing I need to do to make my Arcus a better all around shooter.??

Clone of a Browning HiPower? If so, the first thing I did on mine was get rid of the magazine disconnect, and clean up the trigger. If you don't already know how, a gunsmith can do it for reasonable cost.

Hi, guys,

Been here before. If the gun will be used in a defensive role, I recommend not to deactivate any safety devices. The mag safety on the Browning HP and the corresponding front of the mag can be smoothed up.
