What the Hell happened in Missouri?

What in the world was that deal in St. Louis, with a judge ordering the polls kept open because of crowds? Is there any precedent on that at all? At the time I went to bed (once I'd voted there was nothing left for me to do anyway) the polls had been closed by order of an appellate court above his head.

It was a Democrat judge's crooked attmpt to help get Carnahan elected. St. Louis is largely Democrat and the polls being open longer was just the ticket to push the dead guy over the edge. You can bet your behind that Ashcroft is going to take it to court.

What went on was one of the most blatant attempts at voter fraud I have ever seen. This was not a state or federal judge like you are probably thinking about, but a city judge. I is amazing that the republicans got the whole thing shut down in about one hour. She and they did manage to create mass confusion at the polls, which works to the city politicians advantage, as no one really knows how many people legitimately voted or boted at all, all day long.
Now the results in the City are so tainted, that you cannot accept any race that was tight.
Senator Bond was demanding a criminal investigation of the events yesterday, and I hope he gets it, as something like this happens every election in that juridiction.

Voter fraud in Missouri is nothing new. Their vote on the Concealed Carry issue was also tainted, and to my knowledge was never certified by either their Secretary of State or their Governor.

Missouri is the new Chicago. Let's hope that Florida remains honest.

I did a copy and paste (below in italics) of my comments this morning about this same subject in General.

Words cannot describe how mad I am this morning.
At 7:00PM last night when the polls were supposed to close Ashcroft, pro-gun Republican candidate for the US Senate and Talent pro-gun Republican cadidate for governor had a comfortable lead. Then this "judge" decides to hold the polls open in St. Louis as reported above by Herodotus. The crack pot decision was over turned in a little over an hour.

But here is what resulted in that hour:

Carnahan (The dead criminal): 1,174,303
Ashcroft: 1,136,903

Holden: 1,135,278
Talent: 1,124,445

I can practically guarantee that had those polls remained open the extra three hours that they tried to pull off Gore would have gotten our 11 electoral votes and we would not all be sitting on the edge of our seats this morning waiting to see who the next president is going to be.

This garbage of ballot fraud and cheating by the democrats in Missouri is no longer just a problem for Missourians. It is now affecting the entire nation.

I don't know what can do here to stop this %#$^@$. They covered up the ballot fraud over our CCW so well that most gun owners and voters are still not aware of what was done to them. Now this.
Many Republican voters are fast becoming disheartened and talk of not even bothering to vote and who can blame them. No matter what we do the dems will find a way to screw us.

Folks,
I live in the City of St. Foolish and I saw some goings on last night that made my skin crawl. Down the street from my house there were church buses disgorging sizable numbers of people after seven PM (getting them in the lines) as if someone knew what to do at just the right time. The city gov. here is one of those old time democratic machines and I suspect the board of election com's were not being very careful about validating voter registration. I am enough of a historian to know that this is as old as american politics but that does not make it any easier to take. We also had this awful situation with the dead gov. and the pity people voting their tears. Even if Bush wins we had a bad day here in MO--It will take us a while before anybody can do anything other than "What Mel Would Want". We are in a of world hurt here right now for our issues.
