What single shot cap and ball pistol, that I might find used for under $100. ?

I would like something in 40 cal or more.
Thanks and i'm sorry if I am leaving out needed info. I have never owned a black powder gun.
 
I've seen used CVA single shot percussion pistols sell for under $100, sometimes for less than $50. Some Spanish pistols show up at the local gunshops selling in your price range.
You'll just have to keep your eyes open. It couldn't hurt to mention your hunt to the local dealers. They're more likely to see these guns than you are, and might buy one rather than pass on it if they know there's a guaranteed sale.
Don't forget flea markets and yard/garage sales while you're looking.
Primitive rendezvous and historic reenactments may also reveal a gun that meets your requirements.
A classified ad in the local free paper might also find one or more.

I picked up a .45 cal. single shot pistol for $50 bucks at a gunshow a few years back. It was an impulse buy, not very pretty, but it works.
Even been thinking of selling it.
This is the only pic I have of it. (Bottom right side)

Jo6pak, that single shot looks like the CVA Colonial pistol. I'm curious - did you turn that nice-looking horn into a powder horn yet?
