I am a fan of having a goal to save for. It makes saving more fun, and I love the reward after saving
**** EDIT ****
Sorry guys! Thought I cancelled this post. At the time it wasn't a fully formed thought. I added the poll back on.
MORE EDIT...
Can't add the poll back on...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Save for a 1911. I want a 45, I want a 1911, they are gorgeous. I have CCw and home defense handguns, this would be range/defense/hierloom.
2. Save for an AR. Climate of the times, the fact I don't own my own. Home defense, possibly hunting up to 300 yds. Recommendations?
3. Save for a 223 or 22-250, likely Savage, bolt action rifle for Coyote hunting. I can do this with Shotgun... but a buddy wants me to come to Montana where it is more open and you are more likely looking at 200-400yds open land shooting.
