Guys i just came into some money and i have a dilemma, i am either gonna purchase a product from knoxx, so i can shoot a little easier with my 12 gauge, or should i buy a coating from CCR refinishing, they finish stuff for military purposes, 500 hours salt water tested, so should i get a stock and wait on making this thing more resilent to the weather, or make it far more weather resitant, and wait on the stock???

Any insight is greatly appreciate guys thanks.

oil it up for corrosion protection, keep the factory stock, learn form, and like Dave says, use the money for the wise principle of: ba/uu/r...

This coming from someone who actually spent money de-tacticalizing his 870...the pleasure of simple, efficient things...

My Vote.

I vote you buy a stock from Knoxx! ;)

The guys who say "learrn to deal with the recoil" or "hold the gun properly" haven't tried a Knoxx stock. If they had, they wouldn't say that. There is no reason to have to "deal" with painful recoil and there isn't any magic stance or hold that makes the recoil go away. While you may get accustomed to it, like you would arthritis or a bunion, it still hurts. The Knoxx Stocks are not very expensive and make a huge difference. You can probably afford to buy a stock and plenty of practice ammo.

Good Grief Charlie Brown!

Buying ammo, getting a stock that fits for task...

What?

You folks gonna suggest Training from someone like Awerbuck next?

Sheesh...life was so much simpler when folks just bought guns, never shot them but cleaned them all the time, pulled up armchairs and typed over the 'net with the 'puter...

No wonder the world has gone to hell in a handbasket. :D

Where do you live that salt water coating will be all that important. Anyway if the gun fits you dont get a stock, Get the stock you have fitted to you because just cause a stock looks good dont meen diddly squat if you cant hit with the thing. If you absolutley need the weather finishing get it but other wise buy ammo shoot and clean.
