What should I buy? K9, P9 or G26

I am looking at these for concealed carry. I like and dislike features on all of these. The Kahr K9 has a great grip and smooth trigger but gun is too heavy and it has marginal capacity. The Kahr P9 (polymer)is nice and light, trigger seems heavier than K9, grip is kinda funny feeling, marginal capacity. Glock 26 has great capacity, light weight, buy I don't really like the grooves in the front of the grip and it seems significantly fatter. I have not shot any of these guns. What is your experience? Reliability and customer service are very important to me.

My main carry gun is a Glock 21. I have had both the G26/27 and find the grips lacking. My secondary carry gun (for better-dressed social occasions) is the Kahr K9.

It works flawlessly although the larger 147 grain ammo have the tip of the bullet perilously close the the front of the magazine. I had one nose dive for that reason (out of about 500 rounds of that load).

I carry the Corbon 125 grainers. They feed well and give me some mag clearance. The Kahr is supposed to be designed to shoot rather hot loads. I find my Kahr to be unusually accurate off of a hand rest which opens up a goodly amount offhand due to the trigger pull (it ain't a single-action after all). The revolver-like (albeit 7 pounds) trigger pull is interesting and repeatable.

I wouldn't worry too much about the lack of a few rounds when compared to the G26.

try to rent all three. You can get a pinky extesion on the G26 to make it seem flater. Also there are many glock armerors around to help you service your gun.

Just wanted to let you know that the older Glock 26s didn't have the checkering on the front of the grip face if that makes a difference. If I were to be carrying IWB I'd probably have a hard time choosing between the K9 and the 26 as the 26 is a bit fatter. However, the shorter grip length does help tremendously to keep from printing when bending over. I carry the 26 in an MD Enterprizes (MTHG's) BS2 and find it hides well and is comfortable under the lightest covering garments.

I have the 27 and 33 which are on the same frame as the Glock 26. Cant go wrong with the Glock. Dont think that you will be sorry.

Had a G26 sold it to finance the G30 :) it's a bit bigger and a little harder to hide. but It fits my hand better and I like the bigger/heavier cartridge Hornandy 200gr+p

I've shot the Kahr SS a bit, not the polymer
and own a 26. I was thinking about the polymer Kahr for its thinness. However, the IWB for the 26 is comfortable.

Also, last weekend, I managed to hit a clay pigeon with my 26 at 100 yards on the first shot. That works for me.

First, the Kahr P9 is not going to sell well at all. Its fit and finish are not up to Kahr standards. they missed the boat with the P9. It's a POS.

Rent them and buy what you shoot the best but the Glock 26 is lighter with more capacity and "basically" the same size.

But if you run out of ammo, the K9 is better as a brick!
