Does anyone know what scope the Ranger Snipers are using for their Mac adn Barrett .50 'anti-materiel' weapons.

The barrett's use the Leupold Mark 4 from what I've been told.

Edit:
Straight from the Barrett website:

Model 82A1 .50 BMG Rifle System:
29” barrel, BORS with a Leupold Mark 4 4.5-14x50, ZERO-GAP Ultra High Rings

Springfield Armory sells scopes to the military (which is why you can't get one now).

Springfield does not make scopes anymore, hasn't done so in a long time as far as I know.

I went through a training course with a couple of Army snipers, one had a US Optics and the other a Leupold. Those were on M24's and not 50's, but I'd think they'd still put something very similar on the big guns.

Leupold Mark 4 LR/T for M82/107's

Leupold Mark 3 for M24/21

Most sniper sections are changing over to the Mark 4 for the M21/24's though as allowed by fundingl

SA never did make scopes. Their brand scopes were made by Hakko in Japan. The SA scopes have a repeat issue and are not recommended by most M1A aficionados. They have pretty good glass and still command a high price on Gunbroker and evil bay. The actual "Hakko" brand seems to be a better scope.

The current military scopes I have seen are Leupold. There may be other brands that are bought at the unit level.

NightForce scopes reported that they have a contract to produce scopes for special forces units, so you will probably start seeing them pop up, but currently the majority of the military uses Leupold, with some units using US Optics.
