I know very little about scopes. So I need some help. I don't shoot rifles often but I have a Savage 10FP and a Simmons 4.5-14x40 scope. My problem is and the reason that I don't shoot rifles often is that I am right handed and left eye dominant so it is hard for me to get far enough down on the rifle to see through the scope properly. I don't even try to use iron sights anymore. My AR works out nice because I just have a scope mounted on the carry handle so it sits up nice and high.
So What base and rings can I get that would allow me to get the scope setting higher up on this rifle.
