What`s with the Seecamp?

Ive always heard that a .38 was at best, marginal, for personal protection. I`ve also heard alot about Seecamps, and how good they are, and was wondering, is the .32 powerful enough, or is this particular pistol so well made, that people are willing to live with such a small caliber. What is it about this gun, that makes so many people carry `em?

It's very small, very well made, and many people decide that a .32 beats a handful of nothing. ;)

If you put a round or six of .32 ACP where it needs to be, it'll do the job.

It was the first very small .32 and it was the only option available in this caliber for many years. As Tamara said, it is very well made and developed quite a following due to the above and that fact that they were very hard to get, some had to wait up to 2 years to get one. Small shop and very few produced. It is still smaller than the new .32s - the Guardian, Autauga and the Kel-Tec (the Kel-Tec might be a bit thinner though and is about 5 ounces lighter).

Due to various factors, some people would not be able to carry discreetly or at all if it weren't for the small .32s and that is why the Seecamp and others have been very popular. Better a .32 than no gun at all.
